Membership Information

Wakefield Bowling Club meets the social and competitive bowling needs of the Wakefield village and neighbouring Brightwater and Tapawera plus a large surrounding rural catchment. We have members of various ages and are known as a very friendly rural club

Wakefield has two greens, one synthetic of international standard which enables the club to operate all year round and one natural green. Both greens are recognised as some of the best in the Nelson region.

We cater for all bowling needs of our members by offering social roll ups twice a week throughout the year, competitive club championships along with various open tournaments and interclub events.

Coaching is available from Bowls NZ accredited coaches in the club.
